Moral victory 2

We had another moral victory in that we didn't technically "lose" our last game since it got called because of lightning, tornadoes and tsunamis across the street. We surely would have come back to win since we were only down like, 14-6 and had JUST started to click on defense (and by click, I mean move Jill to left center). My ruling as team manager is that they forfeit because they were the first team off the field. I will petition the league to make this ruling official, but Megan, perhaps you can get our Senator to help?

Anyway, at least we scored some runs (you're welcome), Des didn't die, and Zach & I figured out a better way to work together on setting each other up for style points...although if anyone has a net they could sew between the Zubas legs, it would probably make right field a little more sound defensively.

First post

In the interest of self-preservation (not getting yelled at by Rena & Sandi), I've started this 'Off in Public' Kickball Banter Blog so we can post pictures and messages and taunts and barbs and quips and whatever else it is that we come up with pre and post Friday evenings to get our juices flowing for kickball.

As the somewhat self-appointed team manager, I'll offer to post stats and team lineups here if someone is willing to keep track of that stuff during the game since I, as a male, do not multi-task.
